An idea that had been on my mind for some time! enjoy! Mofongos are a traditional caribbean dish, but usually made of pork skin.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 3 Plantains
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- Fish broth
- 1/2 lb fish fillet (your choice, I like mahi-mahi)
- Salt
Directions
- Fry your plantains until crusty (In the traditional recipe, the plantains are broiled, do it that way if you can) Separate.
- Fry your fish (Don’t overcook)
- Add all ingredients to your “pilon” and mash it all until you have a soft dough. I like to give it ball form.
- Enjoy
