Fogoncito’s “au gratin” sweet potatoes!

Hello friends!

Today I bring you a simple and delicious recipe. It is an excellent garnish and even a recipe that can be used  as a stand alone for any family activity, etc.


  • 3 sweet potatoes.
  • 2 spoonfuls of butter.
  • 1 leek bush.
  • 1 spoonful of garlic paste.
  • 1 white onion.
  • ½ oregano spoonful.
  • ½ spoonful of black pepper.
  • ½ spoonful paprika.
  • A bit of salt.


Cut the sweet potatoes and boil with a little bit of salt until they are soft.

Heat some oil and when ready add the sweet potatoes and allow them to gild. When they take some color, add the butter, the garlic, the chopped onion and the chopped leek. Mix well, take out of the fire and separate.

In a recipient add the oregano and the paprika to the sweet potatoes and mix well. Serve and enjoy!
