Hello my dear friends!!
Today I continue sharing with you our series of NYC pictures.
When we were planning our NYC trip, we looked for recommendations of foods and places from friends in the city. One of the ones we got over and over was: Don’t forget to hit the food trucks!
In the food trucks you may find from very popular to truly gourmet food. The “Sous Chef” and I enjoyed this one big time!
One of the most flavorful bites we tried is, without doubt, “Gyros”. Gyros are Greek and Turkish in origin. Pita bread rolled and stuffed with deliciousness! We had a lamb Gyro and I can only say it was AMAZING!
When you’re in NY, if you’re close to the American Museum of Natural History, besides the dinosaurs, which are pretty cool, definitely hit the food truck by the main entrance. You won’t regret it!
Finally, thanks to my good friend, school mate and fellow foodie Iván, and the NY foodie and friend “Bromography”, for insisting in this one!
Don’t forget to subscribe and continue enjoying with el fogoncito!

Oh I am so envious, Arturo. Since moving to Pennsylvania, I haven’t been able to get one decent, Gyro. And, I love them so….I hope you enjoyed a few messy but delicious bites for me!!!
Thank you so much for sharing…
Oh I did!! It was amazing! We chose lamb and it was a great choice. We’re already planning our next trip to NYC next year! if business takes me there before I’ll be sure to have you in mind when I get one! LOL! Thanks for your support!
