Hello friends and fellow foodies!

As most of you, very frequently we also suffers the stress and tyranny of the daily schedule. While we enjoy sharing with you, we also have less fun jobs to do and it often becomes hard to eat right and to eat well.

So we have developed a few very tasty, very quick and very simple recipes to enjoy the best of all worlds.

You may prepare this in 5 minutes, put it in a a rich sandwich or just take along to work. It basically cooks itself and you may set it up, go take your shower and be back to see it ready to eat.

  • 1 egg.
  • Cheese (I like the gouda because it melts excellently, but choose your favorite)
  • Chopped chives.
  • 1 spoonful of cream cheese.
  • 1 spoonful of butter.
  • Salt.

Put your egg in a small microwave container previously greased with butter, add the grated cheese above, the chives, the cream cheese and the salt. Beat it a little and put it in the micro for two minutes. Take out, add a little more cheese (and pepper if you wish, pepper always goes nice with eggs) and allow to rest and melt.

Once have prepared your first, get creative, go crazy! A spinach leaf, zucchini, goat cheese, bacon, etc. all go well and are fair game.

They can take to work, eat in a sandwich, etc., choose your healthier bread, control de oil, butter or fat or simply do completely without. It’s so simple, so tasty, so custom makeable, quick, delicious, gourmet, flavorful and nutritious! Why don’t you go and try it now!?

Hope you enjoy and don’t forget to subscribe to el fogoncito!

Great idea for quickly cooking an omelette in the morning! I didn’t know you could make something like this in the microwave!

    • I didn’t either, but then one day it just hit me kind of like “…why not?” I know it’s done in the oven, but it takes so much longer. It’s micro brethren iis not as tasty, but much faster!! 🙂 Thanks for your comment!
