Today I share some pictures from our walk through Chelsea Market last fall.
New York is an immensely culturally rich city and food is one of the most notable features. The sous chef and I wanted to visit some of the most important places of New York’s culinary world but found out it’s easier said than done. There are just too many! We left many for our next trip but did enjoy many of them!
One of the most interesting places was, without doubts, Chelsea Market.
Chelsea Market is also the base of the celebrated Food Network and there you may find incredible products, finished food and basically all that is needed to cook at the level of the big chefs.
We arrived a little late that day so we could not fully appreciate all of the stores, but we did find a succulent quiche that made us understand that love for egg that big chefs always display.
We took advantage of some rich hass avocados, flavorful and creamy, some great nuts and of the result of our survey about the sweetest apple you can get.
Once we left we were met with a terrible cold, even more for us, more used to the warm breeze and Caribbean beaches, so we took refuge for a little while at the heat of some burning caramel macchiatos at Starbucks.
